Office for Environmental Programs

Course Planning

Once our students have been accepted into the Graduate Environmental Program they are required to course plan with their Academic Advisor to select their subjects and have them approved.

Course plan and subject change requests must be submitted to their Academic Advisor for approval and then the Office for Environmental Programs.

Subjects Available

Students enroled in the Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, the 200 point Master of Environment or the 100 point Master of Environment can choose from the full list of GEP postgraduate subjects. A draft list of subjects available in 2008 is now available.

For most of the postgraduate subject descriptions and links to timetable information please visit the centralised course and subject handbook.

For students enrolled in these courses we offer 11 Specialist Paths of Study.

Students enroled in the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Environment should visit the course and subject handbook to choose their subjects. Course planing for either of these awards must be done in consultation with the Director of the OEP.

Subject Timetables

The Graduate Environmental Program Coursework subjects are taught from the Parkville Campus.

Subjects are available either as semester long subjects, which require students to attend classes during each week of semester or some are offered as intensives.

Intensive subjects often are run during a block period such as, three consecutive weekends or one week, often with assessment that is due later down the track, generally before the end of semester.

For more information about each particular subject timetable please visit the subject timetable and location page.
