Fees, Fee-HELP and Scholarships

Fees

Students enrolling at the University of Melbourne in an Australian or international fee place pay their tuition fees based on the particular subjects they choose to study.

Subjects have been grouped into fee bands, based on the costs of teaching the subjects and the demand for the discipline or faculty in which they are taught. The amount students are charged for a course is the sum of the fees for all subjects in which they choose to enrol.

The total fees you will pay in any year are the sum of the subject fees for all subjects for which you are enrolled plus the Amenities and Services Fee. The Amenities and Services Fee for a full-time enrolment is currently $392.

There are currently approximately three and a half places available each year, which are awarded by the OEP to enrolled students who have achieved outstanding performance in prior undergraduate studies.
